Client Challenge:

Cirdan’s client was an established health plan considering entry into the Managed Medicaid market. Cirdan’s client had actuarial resources, but lacked internal actuarial expertise with Medicaid.

• Cirdan reviewed the client’s assumptions underlying a multi-year pro forma model
• Cirdan’s review of assumptions helped the client’s actuarial team to better understand the likely dynamics of the Medicaid market
• After consideration of Cirdan’s comments, the client updated it’s pro forma projections prior to presenting them to their board and senior leadership
