Jared Porter

Managing Actuary

Jared is a Managing Actuary at Cirdan. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He has over 15 years of actuarial experience in the healthcare industry. His areas of expertise include Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, population risk scoring, product design, group insurance pricing, claim liability valuation and statistical programming in SAS.

Prior to joining Cirdan, Jared held positions with United Healthcare and with OptumInsight. Jared was a non-commissioned officer in the US Army reserve, and worked with information management and computer technology as well as supervising personnel. He also served in the theater of Iraq in 2005-2006.

Jared earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
